The material is uniquely formulated to smooth out irregularities on the surface and create a coarse texture on plaster and concrete applications. The pad is 1" thick with a coarse finish that creates a cushioning for considerable wear before replacement. The precisely balanced smooth wood handle provides a comfortable grip.
