Sure-Flex PVC Yellow Safety Warning Strip is a polyester reinforced PVC flashing which has a permanent color fast printed yellow coating that is highly resistant to outdoor fading - the pigments are similar to those used in traffic paints using oxides as a fundamental building block. PVC Yellow Safety Warning Strip can be hot-air welded to PVC and KEE HP roofing systems to provide a visual warning of an impending hazard (i.e. roof edge, deep drain sump, skylight, etc.). This is ideal when maintenance personnel are frequently on the roof. A permanent vinyl acrylic with a UV inhibitor is used as a clear coat to further protect the retention of color. This is the same process as is used for yellow highway stripping, and resists fading, compared to colored membrane, which fades over time.
