DeWitt's Lite-N-Smooth is a self adhesive composite underlayment. The three layer composite consists of a proprietary modified asphalt, a tough fiberglass mat, and a unique polymeric coating that provides excellent traction and protection from UV radiation and weathering. The self-adhesive layer is covered with a plastic release sheet which is removed during installation. DeWitt's Lite-N-Smooth is 40 mils thick and is supplied in two square rolls of 200 sq. ft. It is self adhering and cold-applied. No special adhesives, heat or equipment are necessary to install this underlayment.
